Definition of the protection needs for scanned documents

For substitute scanning the protection needs of the document types (e.g. court files, administrative records, social insurance documents, medical documentation, business accounting records, tax documentation and personnel records) must be clarified first.

For the protection needs BSI (Federal office for IT security) distinguishs between:

“Normal” and “High” – Use of advanced digital signatures or qualified digital signatures

“Very high” – Sole use of qualified digital signatures
